Imagine what happens when you combine a kid’s love of building, a bunch of friends, and a birthday cake. ConstructionKids birthday parties are fun for the kids, minimal work for you, and a creative, safe way to celebrate your child’s big day. Each child goes home with a hand-built project and a balloon.
Duration & Setup
Our parties are 2 hours long. While we realize that you are keen on setting everything up perfectly before your guests arrive, we request that you arrive no earlier than 20 minutes before the party.
Age & Themes
We offer a variety of project themes for parties designed for kids ages 4-9. Contact us to discuss what you have in mind. Example themes: Cars, Airplanes, Boats, Minecraft, Superhero, Animals, Dragons, Flowers, Bugs, etc..
ConstructionKids birthday parties are offered at our BLDG 92 workshop or offsite at a location of your choosing (home, rented space, etc.).
At ConstructionKids workshop:
Fridays: After school, 4-6 pm
Saturdays & Sundays: 11am-1pm and 2:30-4:30pm
Pricing & Payment
Pricing depends on the location and size of your party. A non-refundable deposit is required. Contact us to request a date. We will hold the date for you, for up to 5 days from receipt of the contract, without a deposit. The first business day after the party, we will invoice you for the balance due based on the actual number of attendees. On the day of the party, please confirm with the party leader what the final count is so there is no confusion when preparing the final invoice. Payment is due in full upon receipt.
Price for onsite party at our BLDG 92 workshop:
$600 for up to 12 children, $25 per additional child. We require a non-refundable deposit of $600 which can be paid over the phone or via check by mail. Food costs (plus a 20% service fee) will be included in the invoice.
Price for offsite (your venue) party:

Online Invitation Management
As an additional service, we will handle online invitations for you. We use Paperless Post and you will be updated weekly on RSVPs and messages.

Photography & Video
Photos are fine. No Videotape. And no part of our party instructional content may be distributed without our permission.
Parents of Guests & Siblings
Oftentimes parents prefer to stay and watch, as opposed to just dropping off their kids. That is fine and you can offer them beverages and adult food. We have toys and things to occupy very young sibling guests on the sidelines, but our experience is that guest children will want to participate. Very young guests can participate with their parents’ help. But any children who participate (i.e. use materials or tools) will be included and invoiced in the party headcount.
We understand that children get sick and things happen. Nonetheless, demand for our parties is greater than we can supply, so we have a strict cancellation policy.
Parties can be rescheduled up to 4 weeks in advance of the party date (at no additional cost), assuming there are open dates still available. As noted above, the $600 deposit ($1500 for off site parties) is non-refundable.
What To Wear
Children may wear anything they wish, though it is best to remind your guests that their clothing could be attacked by random paint splatters, pizza sauce, and/or chocolate frosting.
